Reverie // Event Branding

Last year, for one of my arts classes, we were challenged to design an event based on a song. The idea was that we could pick any song, and create an event based off of the title or lyrics.

This project was extremely intimidating to me, I love music, but was intimidated by the amount of different options and ideas that I had. In the end, I chose the song Reverie, by Isaac Gracie. You can listen to it here, it’s a great song! A Reverie is defined as a dreamlike state, and so therefore, I decided to do a museum exhibit on the art and science of dreams, which would appear at the Natural History Museum in New York City. I had never designed anything like this before, and it felt so out of the box for me, however, in the end, I was super excited with how it turned out.

Check out the process book, here.

For this project, I designed a logo and branding, marketing materials and hand out materials.
